Helping Communities Thrive

At TruBridge, we know the impact that quality healthcare can create in a community and the consequences of its absence. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to support providers in their efforts to deliver the best care possible for their communities. Through a suite of innovative products, collaborative services and tools, we help our clients eliminate the financial and operational obstacles holding them back and lay the foundation for lasting success. We are a healthcare solutions company and we clear the way for care.

Advancing Community Healthcare

TruBridge’s story begins under a different name: CPSI. In 1979, CPSI set out to fill a void in technology solutions tailored to hospitals in rural communities across the United States. We knew these facilities could deliver healthcare as sophisticated as the largest urban medical centers if they had the right tools. Since that time, we’ve become a market leader through a focused effort on delivering solutions that cross all care settings. This holistic approach has allowed us to help our clients better connect communities and thrive in healthcare delivery.

IT Outsourcing and Consulting Services

Aware of the changes that began to emerge in healthcare delivery, CPSI expanded and created TruBridge as a separate brand. The company was dedicated to preparing clients to better manage their business office infrastructure while providing a variety of IT outsourcing and consulting services. By helping our clients more efficiently manage operations, we enabled them to focus more time and attention on their mission: Caring for their patients.

Growing Our Offerings

Recognizing the importance of growth and solid market position, CPSI acquired Healthland Holding, Inc. and its affiliates – Healthland, Inc., American HealthTech, Inc. and Rycan Technologies, Inc. This allowed CPSI and its family of companies to provide healthcare information systems to approximately 1,200 rural and community hospitals and 3,300 skilled nursing and senior care facilities. CPSI also expanded its footprint into the Canadian Healthcare market to address the growing appetite to modernize the country’s electronic health record systems.

Expanding Patient Engagement

Acquiring Get Real Health allowed us to strengthen our company’s position in community healthcare by offering new comprehensive patient engagement and empowerment solutions to government and private organizations in Europe, Canada, Australia and the United States. Solutions included a care management program and patient portal built to promote more efficient collaboration between the individual and their healthcare provider.

Improving Financial Health

TruCode LLC. had been a strategic partner to our company for several years before we acquired it. The move brought new opportunities to offer software solutions to enable providers, consultants, and payors to code more accurately and efficiently, improving the revenue cycle performance of community hospitals, clinics, and post-acute customers across the globe.

Strengthening the Revenue Cycle

The acquisition of Health Resource Group added a second powerful, long-standing RCM company to our portfolio. This combination positioned us well for the increased demand in healthcare to improve revenue cycle operations and overall financial performance. Whether it’s RCM products or outsourced services, healthcare facilities of all sizes can experience significant value in partnering with us.

Accelerating Ambulatory Revenue Cycle Analytics

The acquisition of Viewgol brought us more ambulatory RCM analytics and complementary outsourcing services, expanding our global presence while improving our RCM offerings. The integration of Viewgol into our existing RCM resulted in a slew of benefits for our clients, including an unparalleled analytics platform, enhanced expertise in ambulatory and physician-focused environments and a greater ability to scale financial operations quickly and efficiently.

Today and Tomorrow: Looking To The Future

In early 2024, CPSI divested its post-acute EHR subsidiary, American Health Tech and entered into a referral partnership whereby PointClickCare will exclusively refer TruBridge revenue cycle management (RCM) solution to its clients.

In a strategic move to further streamline our offerings and enhance market presence, we consolidated CPSI’s diverse portfolio of brands and businesses under one unified identity: TruBridge. This rebranding aligns our strengths and expertise to deliver a more cohesive, comprehensive suite of solutions. Integrating technology and healthcare expertise to empower organizations with healthcare solutions, the consolidation not only reflects TruBridge’s commitment to excellence but also signals a renewed focus on providing clients with a continued path to success in the ever-evolving landscape of healthcare services and technology.

Blue Williams, Product Development, Engineering Consultant

He always does things the right way, even if it takes more time. Never takes a shortcut. I appreciate him for his ‘never say no’ attitude for helping his co-workers.  Not only does he make himself available, but he also looks at problems wholistically. He does not do what is best for a single team, but rather looks at the situation as a whole and what is best for all long-term.
